Within the framework of the Kazakh-German business forum with the participation of the two heads of state, organized with the support of JSC NC KAZAKH INVEST, 36 commercial documents were signed for a total of $6.3 billion, the APK News agency reports.
The agreements are aimed at developing joint projects in such areas as transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing and mining industries, the agro-industrial complex, energy, petrochemistry, scientific research, etc. The signings became an important step in the development of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany. A number of documents are aimed at localizing various equipment in Kazakhstan.
Thus, the Kazakh National Company Baiterek and the German CLAAS Global Sales signed a document on the implementation of a project for the production of seeders and tractors worth $1.1 billion.
The agricultural machinery plant in Kostanay, AgromashHolding and AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER will also establish joint production of Condor seeders in the Kostanay region worth $250 million.
Baiterek and HORSCH Maschinen signed a cooperation agreement for the production of agricultural machinery worth $770 million.
Samruk-Kazyna and SIEMENS signed a document on the localization of the production of control and measuring devices in Kazakhstan worth $27 million.
