To date, more than 15.8 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested in Kazakhstan. With an average yield of 15.2 c/ha, over 24.1 million tons of grain have been threshed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Wheat has been harvested on an area of ​​12.7 million hectares, with a yield of 14.5 c/ha, 18.4 million tons have been threshed; barley - 2.1 million hectares, with a yield of 17.1 c/ha, 3.6 million tons have been threshed; oats - 177 thousand hectares, with a yield of 16.5 c/ha, 292.2 thousand tons have been threshed.

Oil crops have been harvested from an area of ​​958.7 thousand hectares with an average yield of 11.1 c/ha, over 1 million tons have been threshed.

In addition, about 2.6 million tons of potatoes were harvested from an area of ​​112 thousand hectares with a yield of 232.5 c/ha, vegetable crops were harvested from 108.1 thousand hectares with a yield of 273.3 c/ha, more than 2.9 million tons were harvested.

Melons were harvested from an area of ​​98.1 thousand hectares with a yield of 263.9 c/ha, the gross harvest exceeded 2.6 million tons.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 149.9 thousand tractors, 37.6 thousand grain harvesters, 14.9 thousand reapers and 195 thousand units of other equipment were involved in the harvesting campaign.
