Kazakhstan plans to export 900 thousand tons of grain in November 29.11.2024 в 10:35 41 просмотр

Since the beginning of November, 750 thousand tons of grain have been exported via the KTZ network, and by the end of the month, 900 thousand tons are expected to be shipped. This was reported by the press service of the national company.

In total, over 1 million tons of grain have been shipped in 26 days of November, which is 56% more than in the same period of 2023.

“In the last week of November, shippers traditionally increase the shipment of new harvest grain. (...) It is predicted that by the end of the month, 1.3 million tons of grain will be shipped, which is 41% more than last year. Of this volume, over 900 thousand tons will be exported, which is 35% more than in 2023,” KTZ reported.

According to the company, significant growth is observed in deliveries to Central Asian countries - 516 thousand tons (+27%), to Afghanistan - 66 thousand tons (+62%), as well as to Iran via the port of Aktau - 81 thousand tons, which is ten times higher than last year. In addition, shipments to Russia will increase sixfold, amounting to 135 thousand tons (including 45 thousand tons via Russian ports and the Baltic ports), as well as to the Azerbaijan market - 68 thousand tons, where there were no shipments in November 2023.

On the domestic market of Kazakhstan, the volume of grain transportation will be about 350 thousand tons (+38%). This is due to the need to move grain within the country to free up elevators in accordance with the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

KTZ stated that all requests from senders are processed in full. The national company exercises special control over the transportation of grain cargoes of the new harvest.
